Notting Hill mews house completes
We’ve recently completed the restoration, renovation and interior design of a Victorian two-storey mews house in Notting Hill. Set on a sleepy cul-de-sac defined by characterful banded brick façades, the terrace is now a spacious family home full of surprise and playfulness.
The internal reconfiguration introduces open-plan living on the ground floor, with bespoke joinery creating a welcoming entrance foyer that leads into the kitchen and drawing room, interrupted only by a sculptural staircase. A new roof, dormer extension, and strategically placed light wells bring natural daylight deep into the home, while a expressive colour palette and exposed timber beams bring cohesion and warmth to the interiors.
Upstairs, playful openings and double-height voids create visual connections between bedrooms, bathrooms, and the spaces above, enhancing light and spatial interaction throughout.
