Dramatically remodelling a London mews house
We’re excited with the progress on site at Linden Mews in Notting Hill, where restoration and renovation works are well underway on a Victorian two-storey terrace, defined by its characterful banded brick façade.
The internal reconfiguration introduces open-plan living on the ground floor, with bespoke joinery creating a welcoming entrance foyer that leads into the kitchen and drawing room, interrupted only by a sculptural staircase. A new roof, dormer extension, and strategically placed light wells bring natural daylight deep into the home, while a expressive colour palette and exposed timber beams bring cohesion and warmth to the interiors.
Upstairs, playful openings and double-height voids create visual connections between bedrooms, bathrooms, and the spaces above, enhancing light and spatial interaction throughout.
