This spring marks 25 years since Jonathan set up the studio on his kitchen table. From 1999, the studio quickly developed a reputation as frontrunners in sustainable adaptive reuse at a time when most architects were keen to do anything but.

In celebration of this milestone, we’ve renamed the practice Tuckey Design Studio. This evolution in name acknowledges the collective efforts and collaborative nature of the wider team and aims to recognise the many hands and ideas that contribute to each project. It’s also representative of the strong relationships we’ve built with our supportive and progressive clients over the years in both private and public sectors.

In addition to our new name we’ve also reimagined our brand and website to best reflect the projects we have created together. Our new font was designed by graphic design agency A Common Purpose to illustrate the craft of our portfolio.
