New commission for theatre residency

In the heart of a small Worcestershire village is a Grade II Listed grange in need of architectural attention. The grange was originally a place for communal living, with eight monks practicing on the site. The agglomeration of historic buildings is set within a large ground, offering contemplation and peace yet still very much at the core of community.

We have been appointed to overhaul the main historic building as a residency for thespians to develop their craft, acting and writing. The clients are motivated to provide in person collaboration opportunities to generate new ideas and develop relationships between actors.

Upon completion the building will be suitable to host a wide arrange of events, such as festivals, weddings, performances and workshops, opening the site back up to the community and prompting cross-disciplinary practice.
